Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Start to wash your worries away at 4:00pm when you may check-in to your luxurious island inspired, resort style stateroom or suite. However, you may arrive as early as 1:00pm to start your tropical fantasy by enjoying the paradise we have to offer. Our Dream Team would appreciate your departure from your room by 11:00am. Why rush home on your departure day when you can still relax on KeyLime time with Toukie, Gronk, and Cap'n Dave by hanging out in the waterpark all day!

Q: Is KeyLime Cove a non-smoking property?
A: Yes, it is. In accordance with the Smoke Free Illinois Act as well as to preserve our family-friendly environment, KeyLime Cove is a completely non-smoking facility.

Q: How old must you be to reserve a room at KeyLime Cove?
A: Our policy requires an adult of 21 years or older to reserve and check-in to KeyLime Cove. There must be one adult registered and staying in the suite or stateroom.

A: Unless it’s a service animal, there is no need to bring pets. Gronk, Toukie, Marty, and Ol’ Red will be here to keep you company and you can even make your own friendly pet at Pinki’s Pet Palace

Q: Is there a work out facility?
A: We are utilizing all of our space to give our resort guests a vacation experience to remember with a wide variety of amenities. We have partnered with our neighbor, Gold’s Gym, which will allow you access to during your stay.

A: Unfortunately you do need to be a guest to utilize the waterpark. We do offer great specials online. To view them click promotions.

Q: What is your reservation / cancellation policy?
A: Pre-Deposit/ Cancellation Policy:We are a pre-deposit resort. A deposit of the first night stay plus tax is required to guarantee the reservation. A reservation canceled up to 72 hours prior to arrival will have a $30 cancellation fee applied. Cancellation within 72 hours will forfeit the entire amount of the deposit (first night's lodging + tax).

Q: I heard you were America's First Cashless Water Resort! Tell me more...
A: KeyLime Cove is America’s First cashless water resort. At the time of check in, you and each guest will receive a Smart Band® wristband. This will be your room key as well as give you access to common area doors and the waterpark. The wristband also allows you to charge everything back to your room just by a swipe of the wrist. The wristbands can be used for vending machines, token dispensers in the arcade, fun photos of you in the waterpark, lockers, restaurants, spa, gift shops, concessions, and the tech center. For your children, you can set up a pre-funded wristband to use as they’d like. You can add funds and check your balances anytime at our kiosks.

A: Enjoy Lost Paradise Waterpark from 10 am to 9 pm. Monday-Friday & 9 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Q: Is a traditional swimming pool available to guests?
A: Play till you drop in Lost Paradise Waterpark with three different pools to serve your needs, a children’s pool, wave pool and an activity pool for volleyball, basketball or swimming laps. Also our partner Gold’s Gym just across the parking lot has a pool.

Q: Are locals able to use the waterpark if they are not staying at the resort?
A: The waterpark is part of the overall vacation experience and is open exclusively for guests that stay with us on property. However, the eateries, retail experiences, arcade and spa are open to everyone and provide a great escape from everyday. Whether you visit to enjoy a mouth-watering sundae at D.W. Anderson's Eatery & Ice Cream Parlor or enjoy a vacation in a glass at The Crazy Toucan Margarita Grille, you'll be looking for excuses to come back. Don't forget to stop by Island Hoppers, Lulu's Swim Shoppe, and Island Temptations for a shipload of beachy-keen gifts, island-inspired fashions, and tropical treats. The kids will adore the fan-TUBE-ulous games, toys, and fun-tivities at Leapin' Lizards and Pinki's Pet Palace. At KeyLime Cove, the fun is never watered down.

A: KeyLimers that are 14 years or older may be in the park by themselves.

Q: Will there be lifeguards on duty?
A: Lifeguards at your service! Our lifeguards are positioned all over the park to ensure your safety and the safety of your little KeyLimers. Each lifeguard is Ellis and Associates certified, which means they are trained in lifesaving skills, personal safety, CPR, Aquatic First Aid and emergency procedures.

A: Personal food and beverage items are not allowed, we have plenty of tubular choices for your taste buds right here in the resort.

Q: Are there life jackets available to use?
A: Guests are able to check out life jackets by using their wristband. These are complimentary and are strongly encouraged for children and weak swimmers

A: Yes! You can use your wristband to access a locker in the waterpark. There is a one-time charge for all day use.

Each individual is encouraged to evaluate his or her own ability to participate. If you have any concerns, please inform the waterpark safety staff upon arrival. However, there are plenty of comfy chairs surrounding the water and areas to relax and enjoy -- you're on KeyLime time!
